Directions


Main Route  
On the A591 near Kendal   Take the second exit on the roundabout to Windermere still on the A591. On entering Windermere, follow the sign to Bowness-on-Windermere A5074. At the bottom of the hill in village of Bowness - on - Windermere go straight over the mini-roundabout to the edge of the lake. This is where the steamers and tourist launches are based. Take the first right after the pedestrian crossing on to Glebe Road. Just before you get to the Pay and Display car park on your left, you will see the Lake District Boat Club on the right, our Total Sailing Ltd office is above the club on the first floor.

Parking
Between 31 October until Good Friday, you have unrestrictive parking on the full length of Glebe Road.
At all other times there is a 2 hour parking restriction on Glebe Road

There are three carparks nearby, all of which are very expensive thanks to our local authorities.
