If you are not sure whether sailing is for you or not, come along and try one of our taster sessions. We will tailor them to your requirements and fit in with your timing to make sure that continuing on to one of our RYA approved courses is the right choice for you.
Start Sailing Level 1 - Book Today
Our sailing lessons introduce you to the sport of sailing. The sail training covers all you need to know to get afloat under supervision. How to sail in all directions, including an awareness of emergency equipment and precautions. Ideally this course should be followed up by Basic skills course level 2.
Basic skills course level 2 - Book Today
The course sets out the foundations of sailing for you. By the end of it you'll be a competent sailor in light winds and be able to sail and make decisions in good conditions. It covers Reefing afloat, basic rules of the road and boat handling under power.
Seamanship skills - Book Today
This course teaches you how to handle a boat in difficult circumstances and solve problems afloat.
It covers stopping, reducing sail, recovering a man overboard, anchoring, sailing backwards and an understanding of launch and recovery methods.

Powerboat Level 2 - Book Today
This two-day course provides the skills and background knowledge needed to drive a powerboat and is the basis of the International Certificate of Competence. It includes: Close quarters handling, high speed manoeuvres, man overboard recovery and collision regulations.
All you need to know for self-sufficient powerboating at a basic level. Course includes launching, mooring, anchoring and recovery plus all the boat driving skills required for basic competence in a powerboat.
Safety boat course - Book Today
This two-day course provides the skills required when acting as an escort craft, safety boat or coach boat for a fleet of dinghies, windsurfers or canoes, or for racing or training activities.
Boat handling, towing, fleet management, rescue techniques for sailing dinghies, windsurfers and canoes.
RYA Powerboat Level 2 certificate must be held prior to this course.
