We have a number of courses or days out for those who are new to sailing or power boating.
Why not try our very popular Half day or Full day "Taster Outings"
You get to handle the boat as much or as little as you like.
We have more formal RYA training courses available which will enable you to achieve a nationally recognised qualification. These run as two or four day non residential course.
Taster Outings
Half Day Taster ( 3 Hours ) Sailing = £155 up to 4 people on 27 foot ** £325 up to 8 people on 34 foot (Per boat)
Power = £175 up to 4 people per boat
Full Day Taster ( 6 Hours ) Sailing = £285 up to 4 people on 27 foot ** £600 up to 8 People on 34 foot (Per boat)
Power = £330 up to 4 people per boat
RYA Sailing Courses
Courses Available : - RYA Level 1 Start Sailing (2 day) *** Level 2 Basic Skills (2 day) *** Seamanship Skills (2 day)
RYA Level 1 OR RYA Level 2 OR Seamanship £220 per person per 2 day Course
RYA Level 1 & RYA Level 2 (combined) £405 per person per 4 day Course
Maximum 4 students per course.
RYA Power Boat Courses

Level 1 course 1 day From £140 Per person min 2 people (Dependent on Craft and Fuel Prices )
Level 2 course 2 day From £245 per person min 2 people (Dependent on Craft and Fuel Prices )
Safety Boat 2 day From £270 per person min 3 people Max 6 people (Dependent on Fuel Prices )
Own Boat Tuition
2 Day RYA Courses run on your own boat £175 per person min of 2 people. (Subject to Conditions)
Your vessel must have onboard the following safety equipment :-
Fire extinguishers (In date), First Aid Kit, Lifebuoy or Horseshoe Ring and be in safe and sea worth condition.
Hourly Rate £35 per hour for 2 people additional persons will be charged at £10 per person per hour extra.
